TORONTO – Oct. 27, 2016 – PRLog — tealbook, the comprehensive, next-generation supplier knowledge platform, announced today that it has been accepted to participate in the next 48Hrs in the Valley, taking place December 5 – 7 in San Francisco, CA.
Over 170 companies that fit the criteria were invited to apply to join the C100. The Selection Committee selected tealbook as one of 22 companies that demonstrates the potential and determination required to be considered one of Canada’s most promising startups.
48Hrs is a valuable program for growing startups hoping to become more connected to the C100, a non-profit, member-driven organization built by successful Canadian investors, entrepreneurs, and executives living in Silicon Valley that offers Canadian founders access to the venture capital, mentorship and knowledge necessary for growth at a global scale. This is an opportunity to meet with the peers, advisors, and investors who are in a position to support tealbook’s vision of reimagined supplier discovery.
“The opportunity to focus on tealbook’s value proposition and business model in this entrepreneurial, innovation-driven environment is exactly what we need at this point in our growth cycle,” said Stephany Lapierre, founder and CEO of tealbook. “Even this year’s theme – ‘Capital Matters: Human. Financial. Social’ – is a precise match for the tealbook value proposition.”
